Public agencies are encountering warmer weather, and with warmer weather comes heat illness. All public agencies are required to establish procedures to include policies and training to mitigate heat illness, and heat illness training must be provided to outdoor workers before they begin working in the heat per Cal/OSHA's Heat Illness Prevention Standard, Title 8 CCR, Section 3395.
