General Liability 2 Committee

Description of Committee

  • All county members of the GL2 Program have one voting seat on the Committee with no term expiration
  • Each public entity member has a voting seat, and can appoint an alternate in their absence, as long as the county seats make up 60% of the voting seats
  • Typically meets 5 to 6 times a year at the EIA office or by web conference
  • Program committee that makes all decisions regarding the Program

Responsibilities

  • Reviews all matters pertaining to the GL2 Program, including:
    • Program funding
    • Coverage
    • Claims
    • Program services
    • New member applications
