Executive Committee

Description of Committee

The Executive Committee consists of long time members that are well versed in risk management and pooling. Executive committee members are responsible for making decisions and bringing important issues to the Board of Directors.

Description of Committee

  • Eleven member committee
  • Designated positions: President, Vice President, County Risk Manager, Financially-Oriented County Member, County Supervisor, CAO, and two public entity members
  • Past President serves on Committee in an advisory capacity
  • Typically meets the first Thursday of the month, or at the call of the President

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to aid and assist in the conduct of business of PRISM
  • Oversees operations and affairs of PRISM
  • Makes recommendations to the Board of Directors when necessary
  • Appoints committee members and alternates
  • Oversees advisory committees and considers their recommendations
