Workers' Compensation Services

The EIA has identified workers' compensation services that can assist member agencies in reducing costs. These services are available to EIA's Primary and Excess Workers' Compensation Program members. Some of the services offered are:

  • Medical Provider Network (MPN): Network of health care providers developed for EIA Members.
  • Company Nurse on Call: An injury reporting call center that is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by registered nurses.  The nurses take the report of injury, recommend preferred medical care and initiate paperwork to report a claim.  Benefits of this service include reducing the lag time for reporting injuries, reducing the frequency and severity of injuries and improving the delivery of quality care.   • The OUR System: A structured return to work program that places injured employees back at work almost immediately.  While recuperating from an injury, injured workers are transitioned through a series of temporary work assignments within their physical abilities.  Benefits of this program include a reduction in frequency and severity of indemnity claims, reduced medical costs and an increase in productivity.
