Board Approves Excess Workers' Compensation Program Commutation
The EIA Board of Directors recently approved a commutation of the 2016/17 Liberty Policy which was providing the EWC Program statutory coverage in excess of $50M. This transaction resulted in Liberty returning $700k to the EWC Program, which drops directly to the Program’s net position. Members still benefit from statutory coverage, now provided by the EIA. EWC members will see an endorsement to the 2016/17 Memorandum of Coverage amending the schedule of coverage providers to reflect this change. The endorsement is attached to the 2016/17 Memorandum of Coverage and available in the My Entity Documents section of the EIA website.
