Property Renewal
March 31st marks another successful renewal of the EIA Property Program. Overall, the Program will enjoy a slight rate reduction. At the same time, we have taken advantage of the soft insurance market to increase earthquake and critical flood limits. However, the most exciting enhancement is the reduction of the members' earthquake deductible to 2% from the marketplace standard of 5%. This could save the members a significant amount of money following an earthquake, as well as help ease the burden of working through fiscal recovery from FEMA.
Evidence of renewal coverage will soon be available in the Members Areas of the EIA Website and you will receive an email notifying you when the documents are available. Please note, we are evidencing the 16/17 period only for purposes of the evidence, but as usual, the primary level has renewed for a new three-year period (2016/2019).
OasysNet continues to be unavailable through Friday, April 8th in order to establish the Total Insured Values for binding with the carriers. Please contact Sara Carlisle or Linnette Lee if you have any questions or need immediate property schedule changes.
