Property Program Renewal
Evidence of renewal coverage will soon be available in the Members Areas of the EIA website and you will receive an email notifying you when the documents are available. Please note, we are evidencing the 18/19 period only for purposes of the evidence, but as usual, the primary level has renewed for a new three-year period (2018/2021).
AlliantConnect will be unavailable through Friday, April 6th in order to establish the Total Insured Values for binding with the carriers. Please contact Sara Carlisle if you have any questions or need immediate property schedule changes.
Vacant Building Loss Prevention Best Practices
A new resource has been added to the Loss Prevention Toolbox! The Property Committee recently approved Vacant Building Loss Prevention Best Practices.
Vacant properties are susceptible to a unique set of hazards and while having a vacant property isn’t an ideal situation, public agencies may find themselves with facilities that don’t have a current occupant. In this document you will find practical steps that can help reduce the exposure until the building is occupied again.
If you have any questions about the best practices, please reach out the EIA Loss Prevention Department.
