Now available on PRISMtv, the new webcast Tools for Tense Situations: Reducing Workplace Conflicts as We Return to the New Normal presented by Dr. Steve Albrecht provides tools to recognize and resolve conflicts between taxpayers and amongst employees. Getting along in our new post-pandemic, post-protests world will require patience, empathy, and understanding of other points of view without judgment. In this 90-minute presentation, we identify the challenges and provide some solutions. Another great resource as we move toward re-opening. 
Premium Renewal Invoices
The remainder of the of the 2020-21 premium renewal invoices will be emailed to members next week. This includes OEL and Miscellaneous Programs. If you participate in EWC, PWC, GL1, GL2 or Property those invoices were emailed on June 23, 2020. If you have not received your invoice for one of these programs please contact PRISM Finance department at 916-850-7300.
Office of Self-Insurance Plans Adopts New Reporting Regulations
The Office of Self-Insurance Plans (OSIP) has adopted new Regulations pertaining to annual reporting requirements for self-insured public agencies. These new Regulations are effective July 1, 2020. As such, the annual reporting due October 1, 2020, for the fiscal year end data for 19/20, will need to comply with the new reporting requirements. OSIP’s official announcement can be found here

The Interactive Process Manual for California Public Agency Employers has just been updated! This hot off the press 6th edition includes information on conducting interactive processes, evaluating and implementing reasonable accommodations, and maintaining defensible documentation – including a completely new comprehensive section on the impact of COVID-19 on all types of reasonable accommodations. Developed by Patti Eyres, Managing Partner of Eyres Law Group, as part of the Labor Law/Employment Practices Services Program is available to all PRISM members.
