Happy New Year from the EIA
As we begin 2017, we reflect on our past successes and future opportunities. The core of this success is the collaboration and involvement of our member-driven pool. We would like to welcome all the new members to our Workers’ Compensation, Property, Liability, Health and Miscellaneous Programs, as well as thank our more than 120 Committee members for your service. We look forward to the coming year!
EIA Hires New Controller
We are pleased to announce that Puneet Behl, CPA, ARM will be the new Controller for the EIA starting Monday, January 23rd. Puneet’s 13 years of experience in pool management with Bickmore, where she was the Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting Services, will be a great asset to the EIA. She has tremendous industry specific experience having served as the lead accounting and financial manager for 12 JPAs in her career including pools for cities, schools, fire and other special districts. Please help us welcome Puneet.

App. 5th 1287, serves as a reminder of the potential exposure to civil litigation if your agency is not complying with the Penal Code as it pertains to paperwork detailing arrests and detentions. WCIRB 2017 Rates Updated
Do you use the Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau (WCIRB) class code rating system for your allocation? The rate listing on our website includes the WCIRBs 2017 update.
New Travel Reimbursement Form for 2017
The 2017 Travel Reimbursement Form is now posted to the EIA Documents page of the website. The rate for mileage has decreased from $0.54 per mile to $0.535.
Please note that these are only to be used for travel done in 2017. The 2016 Travel Form is still available if needed.
