Las Vegas - Route 91 Harvest Music Festival Claims - Number of Claims Survey
Some of our members have employees who attended the Route 91 Harvest music festival in Las Vegas in October and were either wounded during the shooting and/or have suffered post-traumatic stress. As a result, some of those employees have filed workers’ compensation claims with their respective employers. If you have any employees who allege that they suffered an injury from attending the event, could you please complete this survey? The survey includes questions relating to how many employees have filed claims, the compensability determination made and rationale for it and any policy language your agency has relating to sworn safety personnel responding while off duty and/or out of your agency’s jurisdiction. If you have any questions, please contact Mike Pott or Jen Hamelin.
