EWC Policy on Claims Allocation
During the March 2017 Board of Directors meeting, the Board members participating in the EWC program approved the Policy on Claims Allocation. This policy affirms that claims allocation must be addressed whenever one individual sustains multiple injuries to the same body part, and distribution of benefits to the appropriate claim file must occur. If you are a member of the EWC program, please provide the policy to your claims administrators so they are aware of it and are able to implement appropriate measures to comply with it. If you have any questions, please contact Jen Hamelin.
Property Program Renewal
The Property Program renewed on March 31st, and evidence of coverage is available in File Management System on the EIA website. Several endorsements have been issued on the Property Program Memorandum of Coverage (MOC) since the start of the 2016/17 policy year. These endorsements have been added to the MOC, and the updated document has been posted.
Please note, AlliantConnect is currently unavailable through Friday, April 7th in order to establish the Total Insured Values for binding with the carriers. Please contact Sara Carlisle if you have any questions or need immediate property schedule changes.
