| Workplace Violence Prevention |

| PRISM Risk Control has put together a new tool for the Risk Control Toolbox, the Workplace Violence Prevention: Best Practices for Public Agencies guide. While the risk is real, there are methods public agency employers can adopt to both prevent and protect employees from workplace violence. The guide reviews these methods including; establishing leadership commitment, how to perform an assessment of a current violence prevention program, ways to strengthen program elements, communicating the program to all affected employees, and continuous improvement of the program to help ensure worker protection.  The EAGLE Awards recognize members for their innovative ideas, best practices, and programs. Over the years we have had a variety of winners from ergonomic training programs, threat assessment groups, collaborative programs with law enforcement, many Covid related projects, and many more. If your entity has done something innovative in the arena of risk management, submit your EAGLE Award application before July 15th!

| PRISM 2022/23 premium renewal invoices for major programs (EWC, PWC, GL1, GL2, Med Mal and Property) will be emailed to members the week of June 27th. The invoices for Miscellaneous Programs will be released after the first week of July. Please note that PRISM has recently implemented a new Finance System and your invoices will have a new updated look. They will receive the invoices from email address invoices@prismrisk.gov or mcase@prismrisk.gov. If you have not received your invoices for one of these programs by July 8th, please contact PRISM Finance department at 916-850-7300. |
