Loss Prevention Committee

Description of Committee

  • Eleven member committee, including
  • Nine voting and two alternate committee members, with
  • One designated public entity representative voting seat
  • Typically meets 3 to 4 times a year at the EIA office or by web conference
  • Committee members are participants in various EIA Programs and generally have a loss prevention or safety background
  • Advisory committee under the direction of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates and reviews all matters pertaining to the EIA’s loss prevention services
  • Advises and makes recommendations regarding programs specific to loss prevention and safety
  • Assists with evaluating new loss prevention services
  • Evaluates and reviews documents for inclusion in the Best Practices Library
