Insurance Requirements in Contracts for Technology Service Agreements - Part 3 of 4

Overview

The Insurance Requirements in Contracts Manual (IRIC) has been relied upon and used by hundreds of Public Entities since the 1970's to devise and implement effective Risk Transfer Contracts for maximum protection from liability resulting from the hiring of Vendors and Contractors.  There have been a number of important recent trends and changes that significantly impact the effective transfer of risk and verification for Public Entities from their Vendor/Contractors.

This seminar will discuss insurance considerations in agreements involving technology products and services. The presenter will review how insurance requirements in contracts should be modified to address the different exposures presented by these agreements. The specialty insurance coverages will be reviewed. Claims scenarios will be discussed.

Who should attend:

Anyone involved in the risk transfer process should attend these important workshops including risk management and procurement professionals involved in technology product and service agreements.
