When your workers go online, they can create a disturbing array of legal risks for you based on what they post and write that may hurt your entity’s reputation in the community or in the courtroom. Harassing, retaliatory or defamatory comments by employees that you would never tolerate inside the workplace can be much more difficult to control when they're posted on the Internet. This webcast will identify the primary legal threats to your entity posed by social media on your own networks and externally. Among other topics, we will explore legal landmines in online searches about job candidates and employees, the risks from errant posts that result in legal claims, and serious security threats to your sensitive data from within and without your organization. We will provide risk analysis checklists, sample policy particulars, and proactive principles to minimize risk and maximize productivity.
