Crisis Incident Response - Building an Effective Program

Overview

Overview:

Lately, it seems that every time we turn on the television, news stations are covering one crisis incident after another, making it is easy for the public to become paralyzed by these situations. Recent events of terrorism in the US and around the world have caused many to become fearful of similar attacks hitting close to home.

Just in this past year, several of our CSAC EIA members have been struck by crisis incidents, including widespread wildfires, flooding, earthquakes, or workplace violence. These events have caused us to turn the mirror on our organizations and ask - are we prepared?

In view of this, the EIA has partnered with Mainstream Unlimited to lead us in a series of targeted regional training programs. Our featured speakers are Dr. Bob May and Dr. Steve Albrecht, known experts in the areas of incident management, risk/threat assessment, and organizational behavior.

During this session our presenters will dive into the heart of crisis incident management exploring pre-incident planning, incident response and business continuity.
