The EIA Legislative Committee follows and takes positions on legislation in both the California State Senate and California State Assembly. This Committee focuses on legislation that impacts our members in the areas of workers’ compensation, liability, workplace safety/standards, and employee health benefits. At its monthly meetings, the committee receives updates from our lobbyists regarding the current legislative session. Members vote to propose amending, supporting or opposing legislation/regulations for the benefit of the membership. To see the list of bills the Committee is currently tracking check out the Bills of Interest.
