Flagger Zoom Training
Join Juan Cajandig, PRISM Sr. Risk Control Specialist, Wednesday, August 24th at 9:00 am, for Flagger Training. This Zoom course will cover the fundamental skills required by the California Department of Transportation for Flaggers. Topics will include: flagger station location, equipment, hand-signaling devices and advanced warning signs, and flagger procedures. Additional on-the-job training and practical experience is required by the employer to complete the employee’s training certification.
School Safety for the Industrial Arts
A new guide has been added to PRISM's Risk Control Toolbox. The School Safety for the Industrial Arts guide is designed to assist public agencies in keeping students, faculty, and others in their Industrial Arts classrooms safe. It covers potential hazards, where they are typically found, and how best to protect people from these hazards. Special sections provide details on specific categories of classes such as auto repair, woodworking, and metal shop.

OEL Program Proposals
The 22/23 Optional Excess Liability (OEL) Program Proposals were sent out to all OEL members on Monday, June 27th, outlining the renewal details and premium. Since the program renews this Friday, July 1st at 12:01 a.m., we would greatly appreciate it if you would confirm your intent to renew coverage via email to Rhiannon Cabral as soon as possible. Please note, if your renewal confirmation is not received by 2:30 pm Wednesday, June 29, 2022, we will NOT renew your coverage.
22/23 Coverage Data on PRISM Website
Coverage Data for 22/23 is currently being added to the My Coverage Data section of the PRISM website. While the new period will appear on members’ dashboards, coverage data will not be completely populated until late July. We thank you for your patience as the new fiscal year information is added. 
Premium Renewal Invoices Reminder
PRISM 2022/23 premium renewal invoices for major programs (EWC, PWC, GL1, GL2, Med Mal and Property) will be emailed to members the week of June 27th. The invoices for Miscellaneous Programs will be released after the first week of July. Please note that PRISM has recently implemented a new Finance System and your invoices will have a new updated look. They will receive the invoices from email address invoices@prismrisk.gov or mcase@prismrisk.gov.  If you have not received your invoices for one of these programs by July 8th, please contact PRISM Finance department at 916-850-7300.
